Ovoid

The psilocybe ovoid mushroom fruits on wood chip beds or woody debris from April to mid June but they occasionally fruit as late as November. This is beneficial since fruitbodies can be harvested in both the spring and the fall.

Ps. Ovoid was first documented in Pennsylvania. And has since spread like wildfire across the United States, and has been found in Ohio,  Kentucky,  Maryland , West Virginia, New York , British Columbia, New Jersey, western Washington, California, and Oregon to name a few.
